Idaho Born and Bred

Luke & business partner, Bre, bought Greenleaf Meat Packing in 2017. The Butcher, Luke, was raised on a local farm in Caldwell spending endless summers in the field moving pipe and bucking hay. Bre grew up on a local dairy farm in Kuna working on John Deere equipment and helping raise livestock. Together, they love running the business and look forward to handing it down to their two sons someday. You can also find their daughters at the shop helping make pepperoni and jerky or playing office up front. As proud Idahoans, we support guns and knives and stand behind Idaho’s fundamental reputation.

How It All Began…

Randy and Marilyn Jahn started Greenleaf Meats in 1981 and retired in 2017. Since then, the couple has been enjoying endless travels and the happy-go-lucky freedom of retirement.  However, they’re still a valuable asset to our team with many coaching calls and occasional work at the shop. The Jahns call the Carsons their kids and are a big part of their family.  We are Blessed to have Randy and Marilyn in our lives.
