Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s some popular questions we get asked

  • Where are you located & what are your hours?
  • What type of wrapping do you use on the meat?
    • It’s a double wrapped shrink wrap. It allows you to see the meat and gives it a tight seal which lessens the chance of freezer burn.

    • 10-14 days is our standard hang time. Longer times can be requested, but not recommended.
  • Can you explain how the whole process works?
  • How much does it cost?
  • How long does the meat keep when frozen?
    • If properly taken care of (not being thrown around/thawed and then refroze) it should keep for a year.
  • What type of animals do you process?
    • Farm Animals: Cattle, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Buffalo
    • Big Game: Deer, Elk, Antelope, Bear etc.
  • How far do you go with mobile butcher?
